About Me
As a strategist, coach, facilitator, and thought-partner for nonprofit, government, and foundation clients, I lead on envisioning, designing and executing engagements toward effective strategic planning, anti-racism efforts and commitments, core team values and desired culture, teambuilding, leadership development, and leadership coaching and training.
My 25+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector includes executive/senior leadership, program design and management, and technical assistance. I am particularly skilled in assessing organizational strengths and opportunities and deftly managing change toward desired outcomes. Underlying my work is a staunch belief in the rights and potential of all individuals—with a particular focus on centering the voices of those who have historically been most marginalized.
I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and MS in Nonprofit Management from The New School. I am certified by the International Coaching Federation and Blooming Willow as a healing-centered coach, and certified in change management by the Association of Talent Development. I am actively engaged in learning around non-violent communications and appreciative inquiry.
I am a first-generation American and native New Yorker, born and (mostly) raised in Brooklyn. An avid traveler who has been to all six inhabited continents and loves 6:00 am Orange Theory classes and hot Vinyasa. I am Reiki-certified, and adopted a plant-based approach to food in 2021 to better align my values and purpose. I love learning, and could be described as a podcast super fan!
